Dear Quikjet Family,
It is with enormous pride — and genuine joy — that I share with you a series of appreciation messages we have received from our Fly4 Airlines colleagues following the conclusion of the SpiceJet winter season engagement. These messages, written independently by Fly4’s Head of Operations, Head of Safety, Ground Ops Coordinator, Crew Management, and Aviation Security Manager, tell a single consistent story: that the Quikjet team performed with distinction, professionalism, and heart.
This was not a simple engagement. Fly4 had never before moved its entire operation — at short notice — to a completely different part of the world. The environment was challenging, the demands were unrelenting, and there were moments that tested every one of us. And yet, the names that Fly4 kept returning to —Reuben Mohit, Sagir, Gabriel, Arun, Kaushik, Colleen’s counterparts, Jijesh KD, Mohd Talha, Rohit Chhikara, Imamul Rashid, and the broader IOCC team under Nirmal — are names that we can all hold our heads high about.
Simon Prower, Fly4’s Head of Operations, called out your “support, flexibility and passion.” Heidi Field, Head of Safety & Compliance, wrote that working with our team gave her “real confidence during some of the more challenging moments.” Jenny Maguire, Aviation Security Manager, said she “simply could not have achieved” what she did without our people. These are not courtesy words — these are the considered, grateful words of seasoned aviation professionals.
I want each of you who served on this engagement to know — whether you were on a permanent contract or a temporary one, whether your role was visible at the front or essential behind the scenes — that you represented Quikjet with the very best of what this organisation stands for. The names called out specifically by Fly4 will receive a formal letter of commendation on their personal file. But every single individual who contributed to this operation deserves to take a moment today and feel proud.
Quikjet is a young airline with big ambitions. Every time we deliver — and deliver well — we write another line in a story that will define what this company becomes. The Fly4 engagement is one such line. It will be remembered not because it was easy, but because you made it possible under pressure.
Let this be both affirmation and the fuel. Affirmation that we are already capable of delivering international-grade aviation support. And fuel — because the best of what Quikjet can be is still ahead of us.
With immense pride and gratitude
