Vigilance in Action: Quikjet’s Airport Security Teams

At Quikjet, airport security teams are mission-ready every day. Each morning begins with a briefing led by the Chief Security Officer (CSO), where Security In Charges at all stations discuss threats, incidents, and operational priorities. All emergencies or unusual activities must be promptly reported and addressed.
Security teams work around the clock to ensure safety on the ground and in the air. Their duties include aircraft protection, cargo screening, surveillance, equipment checks, visual inspections, and safeguarding security-cleared cargo. Daily tasks involve verifying staff access, screening shipments with X-ray machines, monitoring CCTV, escorting valuables, and conducting aircraft checks. They ensure safe cargo handling through strict checks at acceptance, X-ray screening, and supervised loading/unloading. They verify documentation, inspect shipments, maintain chain of custody, and secure returns to clients. Certified by BCAS, the team ensures compliance, safety, and protection throughout the cargo movement process.
All personnel are certified by BCAS in aviation security and X-ray screening, with mandatory training in Dangerous Goods Regulations, Ramp Safety, and Human Factors. Regular mock drills and exercises ensure preparedness for real scenarios. When a QO aircraft arrives, security teams inspect for leftover cargo or suspicious items and enforce strict Dangerous Goods compliance.
Quikjet’s security teams are the vital line of defence, combining training, vigilance, and coordination to ensure safe, smooth, and disruption-free day to day operations.
