We are pleased to announce that Mr. Manjunatha GY, Executive – Security, at our Bangalore Station, was awarded the Quikjet Safety Star for the quarter Oct-Dec 2024.
Mr. Manjunatha GY has demonstrated his outstanding commitment to improving Safety at Quikjet. On 30th Oct 2024, while on security duty at Menzies warehouse, BLR, he observed that the locking mechanism on the ULD dolly was unserviceable. He immediately informed his supervisor, the warehouse coordinator and GHA coordinator. He also recorded images and videos of the unserviceability and promptly reported the same on Safety Hazard reporting portal. Apart from the said dolly being taken out of service, his actions also resulted in the GHA auditing and checking all equipment for similar defects, thus playing an important role in reducing risk of ULD damage. His sincerity, keen sense of observation and attention to detail is a positive example to all.
The Quikjet Safety Star certificate and an Amazon Gift Voucher worth Rs. 10000.00 was awarded by CEO, Capt. Preetham Philip to Mr. Manjunatha today, 31st January 2025 at Quikjet, Bangalore office.
