As part of its commitment to promoting health and well-being, Quikjet is proud to join the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative this October. The aim is to educate employees, raise awareness, and support those affected by the disease.
On 18th October 2024, Quikjet Observed ‘Pink Day’, encouraging employees to wear pink as a symbol of solidarity and support for breast cancer awareness. The day also featured a special session on the topic ‘Breast Cancer – Myths Vs Facts’ led by Dr. Snita Sinukumar, a Consultant Onco Surgeon from Jehangir Hospital, Pune. Dr. Sinukumar addressed common misconceptions about breast cancer, provided valuable insights into early detection, and offered guidance on available treatments and support systems.
Through this initiative, Quikjet aims to empower employees with knowledge and resources, helping them take charge of their health and support those around them affected by breast cancer.
