We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Shailesh Deshpande, Duty Manager at the Operations Control Centre (OCC), has been awarded the first Quikjet Safety Star for the quarter of July to September 2024. This prestigious recognition highlights Mr. Shailesh’s unwavering dedication to enhancing the safety practices at Quikjet. His vigilance and quick action in identifying and reporting safety hazards have played a significant role in making our operations more secure.
On three separate occasions, Mr. Shailesh flagged potential hazards, which resulted in timely corrective measures. Notably, some of these hazards were identified through his keen observation of visuals from bodycam and CCTV footage, demonstrating his attention to detail. His active engagement in periodic safety meetings and invaluable suggestions have further strengthened our collective commitment to safety.
On 18th October 2024, Mr. Shailesh was presented with the Quikjet Safety Star certificate and an Amazon Gift Voucher worth Rs. 10,000 by our CEO, Capt. Preetham Philip, at our Bangalore Head Office. This recognition is a testament to his outstanding contribution and a reminder of the critical role each one of us plays in fostering a safer work environment.
